About the Artist:

Alma Perreault is the founder of Sapphos Photography. Her work has been featured in numerous events and publications, including on the cover of Petal Projections Publishing, and at the Community Digital Art Hub in Montreal. Her professional experience spans photojournalism, editorial fashion, and fine art photography. Drawing on her experience covering newsworthy stories like the Fairy Creek blockade, portraits of the Yoruba religion in Cuba, and numerous protests, Alma’s practice is grounded in discerning and honouring complex emotional narratives. Her education at Dawson in Commercial Photography has focused on experimental approaches to studio photography, incorporating unconventional styles into the production of industry-standard fashion and portraits. She’s looking forward to being a part of the team at ProjetMill!
